Privacy Policy
MailPing is designed to report only what can be technically observed and defensibly proven. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
What MailPing Does
MailPing provides email delivery and open tracking using uniquely generated image URLs. When an email client requests one of these images, MailPing records the event.
Information We Collect
When a tracking image is requested, MailPing may record:
- Date and time of the request
- A unique tracking identifier
- Technical request metadata (such as headers sent by the email client)
MailPing does not attempt to identify individuals. We do not collect names, email addresses, message content, or personal identity information.
How Information Is Used
Collected data is used solely to:
- Determine whether a message was delivered
- Determine whether a message was opened
- Display delivery and open counts to the sender
Repeated signals from the same environment are not inflated and do not increase counts.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
MailPing does not use tracking cookies for behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking. Limited cookies or local storage may be used to support application functionality.
For more details, see our Cookies Policy.
Data Retention
Raw tracking events are retained to ensure reporting accuracy and system integrity. Interpretation of these events may evolve, but raw data is preserved.
Third Parties
MailPing does not sell or share tracking data with third parties. Infrastructure providers may process data strictly to operate the service.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as MailPing evolves. Changes will be posted on this page.
